Jeff Bianco has more than 20 years’ experience as a partner, manager, and client of Ukrainian IT services. Jeff has founded and grown 2 technology companies: GraphicCorp Inc., a publisher of software and digital content, which he founded in 1993 and was later acquired by Corel Corporation in 1999; and CustomCD, a technology company providing on-demand media publishing solutions, which he founded in 2005 and was purchased by Digital River Inc. in 2008. From 1998, Jeff was a partner to Validio Software LLC, a successful software development company, which was acquired by GlobalLogic Inc. in 2008. Jeff brings years of successful entrepreneurial and leadership experience, having founded and run a number of transnational businesses. His expertise includes database marketing, software development, e-commerce, and business development. Jeff holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jeff will share his take on the specifics of working with foreign customers during the pre-sale phase. Conference attendees will learn more about the stages of building a long-term partnership, starting with preparing for the first contact with a potential customer.
Jeff is actively involved with the pre-sales processes of Dev-Pro.net. Based on his 20+ years’ experience working with Ukrainian outsourcing companies, and currently being president of one of them, Jeff will speak about how to reduce cultural differences that occur in the business ethics of Ukrainian and Western specialists. You will learn how to understand your customer’s needs better, how to demonstrate your team’s professionalism, how to lay the foundation for a trustworthy relationship, and how to constantly expand opportunities for cooperation.
Volodymyr is Competence Manager of Business Analytical Office, CSPO. He has over 10 years’ experience in the financial domain, and 6 years working as a Business Analyst, of which 4 years were in IT. He has been involved in projects related to ERP (SAP, legacy) systems, web applications, implementation of BI systems, migration and support, management and optimization of business processes in retail trade (finished products, raw materials), banking, and optimizing the processes of financial services (Record-To-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash). He is a certified owner of the product Scrum (CSPO) and has a Master's degree with honors from National Lviv University, with a degree in economic cybernetics.

Skechnoting is a very interesting technology in the hands of the analyst. It may be one of the best tools for gathering requirements, speeding up the discussion and gaining approval of the same requirements, interviewing people and, perhaps most important, helping to develop associative thinking to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
At the workshop we will try to show how you can apply this technique and learn how to create skechnotes.
